Every new pup starts with a free trial so we can make sure Dogtopia is the right fit for them and for you.

Book a free Meet & Greet

A complimentary 30-minute socialisation session. Your pup meets the pack and our caregivers, and you get honest feedback on how they settled in.

STEP 02

Enrol your pup

One simple enrolment form plus up-to-date vaccinations, including kennel cough. Dogs over 6 months need to be spayed or neutered.

STEP 03

Drop off and relax

Your pup gets a structured day of play, social time, lunch and naps while you work, run errands or travel. Collect one happy, tired dog.

A deep love for animals

"Everyone thinks they have the best dog, and none of them are wrong."

Welcome to Dogtopia! I'm the founder of Collar and Comb Pet Grooming Boutique, which I started in 2020 during the COVID pandemic. I realised it was time to do something I'm passionate about, instead of a boring 8-to-5 job that brought me little to no satisfaction.

My deep love for animals and all furry creatures alike sparked the idea of opening a grooming parlour like none other. Since then, we've grown in leaps and bounds and perfected the art of grooming, and we're very proud to say we've won the title of "Best of Ballito" for 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025.

After receiving numerous enquiries for a place where people could leave their fur kids for short amounts of time, I decided to expand my service offering to fur parents and partnered up to start this amazing concept of doggie care. Dogtopia was born, aimed at people who want their pups socialised and interacting with other doggies in a safe, clean, supervised environment, taking the guilt away from having to leave your pets home alone.

At Dogtopia, we're not just a daycare; we're a place where tails wag and hearts are happy. We look forward to welcoming you and your precious pets to our safe haven of canine companionship.

Good to know

Questions dog parents ask us

We care for small-breed dogs from 4 months old, from Chihuahuas and Toy Poms to French Bulldogs and Poodles. Pups need up-to-date vaccinations including kennel cough, and dogs over 6 months must be spayed or neutered.

It's a complimentary 30-minute socialisation session. Your pup meets our caregivers and the pack in a controlled way, and afterwards we give you honest feedback on how they settled in. No cost, no obligation.

For stays longer than 4 hours, please pack your dog's own food for their 13:00 lunch. For hotel stays, bring pre-packed meals for each day plus any medication with simple instructions. We handle the rest.

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 10:00. Early drop-off or late pickup is R30 per 30 minutes. A 50% deposit secures your booking and the balance is due on arrival. Spaces are limited so booking ahead is best, especially over holidays.

Yes, through our trusted partners at Collar and Comb: baths, specialty cuts, nail trims, ear cleaning and teeth cleaning. Combine grooming with daycare so your pup plays instead of waiting.
